I am quite particular with my teeth hygiene. I have always considered my pearly whites to be one of my greatest assets, and other people should think the same. After all, of all the parts of your body, your teeth are irreplaceable. And I quote from Wikipedia, “Teeth are among the most distinctive (and long-lasting) features of mammal species.”
Well, I’m not the type who thinks it’s mandatory to floss every day (I do acknowledge that flossing is an important aspect of dental health), but I’m the type who follows a sound oral hygiene program and the recommended twice-a-year teeth cleaning.
After all, the procedures used and recommended by your dentist to clean your teeth will vary, depending on the condition of your teeth and oral health, as well as what your dentist feels is needed. And the Plano dentist who last checked my teeth said twice-a-year teeth cleaning is enough for my current teeth condition.
At the moment though, I’m quite behind schedule and I’m literally having mini-nightmares about getting gum diseases because of the slight delay. I better give my dentist a call soon and schedule in a teeth cleaning session. What about you? How committed are you in taking care of your oral health?
