I did some major house cleaning yesterday. I found out that there were a lot of surplus stuff in my closet so I decided to have a garage sale. Earlier, one of my neighbors was looking into my “for sale” items and she bought all of my perfumes at once. I got curious so we talked a bit. It turns out that she was selling discount fragrances online. She collects good quality perfumes everywhere and posts them in her site. I was amazed when I found out that a lot of her clients come from abroad.

It amazes me when people find cool ways of earning additional income. Some people may say they are not into selling, however what they do not realize is that they have been selling all their lives. From the moment they learn how to speak.

Good thing about perfumes is that, they never expire. As long as you keep them in a cool place that has no direct sunlight, they will last forever. Quality perfume is very cheap here in the US. The price abroad however can go as high as three folds. So with this, I also thought of doing the same business.

Shock absorbers are pretty useful in a car. I never knew before that they were the ones primarily responsible for keeping the ride over rough and bumpy roads smooth and comfortable. That’s because this device absorbs the “shock” from traveling on the rough road. Some drivers recommend the rancho rs7000mt shock absorber as a good kind of absorber for vehicles.

Actually, shock absorbers are not just used in vehicles too. It makes sense that they are also used in buildings to withstand earthquakes. Bridges also have shock absorbers, which makes sense as they are quite vulnerable should earthquakes happen. The words “shock absorbers” speak for themselves – they absorb any shock and thus prevent further accidents from occurring. Now, wouldn’t it be interesting to have a shock absorber for life’s emotional accidents too.

With almost everything in digital and downloadable format nowadays, the old and reliable appears to be out of date. But you can still find some uses for your CD rack. In addition to holding on to your nostalgia through CDs of good albums, you can also store other stuff in your CD rack. For example, our CD rack at home does not only hold CDs but also thin booklets. Think of objects that can fit in your CD rack.

Another use of CD racks, I think, is as storage for bills in envelopes. One envelope for each slot. Now that will keep your bills organized! So there are many ways you can use a CD rack to organize your stuff. Use your imagination and you might just be surprised.

Every time father’s day come’s near, I remember the greatest Dad I have ever met — My Grandfather. He is the one who brought me my Dad, the second best Dad in the world.

My Grampa passed away a couple of years ago, yet every father’s day, we keep on reliving his memories. He has a very interesting life. A life he shared with us in stories. One interesting story my Grampa told me was about smoking macanudo cigars – his favorite brand.

One time I asked him, “Why do men like cigars?”. He explained to me that for him, men should not smoke cigars every day. “Smoking a cigar is a special event”. Unlike others who smoke cigars everyday, while drinking coffee, reading the newspaper, or watching TV, my Grampa smokes alone. In a quiet place. He would not want to be distracted during his cigar time. I could only count the number of times he smoked cigars. It was always done in celebration of some big event.

I have never heard anyone treat smoking as something that big. Perhaps if people would do this, smoking will not be as bad as it is now. Anyhow, I really miss him so much.

What is up with Dads being very picky when it comes to gifts? In our family, Dad is the hardest one to please. We always have a hard time buying him gifts because he has it all. What can we possibly buy that he can’t right? He’s got the money, he’s got the car, he even has a new dog!

My brothers and sisters went from shop to shop looking for that perfect gift for Dad. We looked at the hardware store to get him some power tools but later on realized that Dad is the expert on those, we might buy him a brand he does not like. We tried the department store, but hey, who could possibly know what Dad wants to wear? We remembered Mom gave him a shirt one time, just a shirt, yet I never saw him wear it in public. Jewelries, watches or shades will probably please him but we could never afford that. All these window shopping made us hungry…

That’s it!!! We finally realize what Dad would really want. Sweeeeeets!!! So where can you find the best sweets? Online!

So there! We have decided to get the gifts for dad at berries.com. As the saying goes “the way to a man’s heart is through is stomach”.

Wouldn’t it be nice to just stay at home and watch a movie on a 47 inch LED TV. Sittting on chaise lounge chairs with your family. Eating hot wings and fries while the kids dig into the ice cream?

Sometimes I ask myself, what happened to my dream?

So what do you do when your dream dies? Do you sit down and cry? Or do you get up and take another try?
These were the exact words from a friend of mine. These words made me realize, it is not too late. I still have a shot on my dreams.

I have always been obedient to my parents even as a child. The taught me to study hard, get good grades, get a college degree so that in the future you will be able to work in a big company. And I did. I am actually working in a big company. And most of the times, I am figuring out why I am working? Am I working to live? Or am I living to work. Sometimes we forget to realize our real goals in life. When our circle of reality cannot fit our cirle of dreams, we tend to settle. Settle for a car, settle for a life of quiet desperation. Living from paycheck to paycheck.

This time, I’ll do something different.

I was approached recently by a friend of mine who called me to ask if I was interested in a side business for additional income. A side business? Of course I am interested. So I met with him at Starbucks to discuss the business. He promised me a presentation that would only take 30 mins of my time. I can’t sign anything and I can’t buy anything.

And so we met. First he asked me about my dreams. I thought about my short term goals. Material things from cheap sony camcorders to a new iPad2. He asked me… “What would you do, be or have if money was not a problem?”.

In an instant, I my mind went flying, ideas came into my mind and I realized, I had so many dreams that I already forgot about. Reality bites. He asked me to list all my dreams then he discussed the opportunity he talked about.

He draw the first circle and he wrote YOU inside. Then he asked me, who do I want to work with in an opportunity that would allow everyone to benefit. I gave him 5 names of my friends and relatives whom I would love to work with. Then he started talking about volume, money, rewards, travel and a lot more. The circles filled in the paper and I was just amazed. That time, I said, I am in! However, this friend of mine kept his promise. When he said I could not sign or buy anything, he kept it. We scheduled another meeting for just this purpose.

I recently had a chance to speak with one of my long lost friends because of network marketing. As I was creating Facebook and Twitter accounts for my MLM business, I came across this website selling pet supplies. I got curious so I browsed the site thinking that I might find discounts on kennel, my dog’s favorite food.

To my surprise, upon calling the number to inquire, her name showed up on my phone. It was my friend from college who I haven’t seen for a very very long time. We had a quick chat and scheduled a meet.

And so this morning I met her at Starbucks. We met at 6 am imagine that. She had her work at 9 so we had to meet early. Besides, we were very excited to talk about everything we missed out.

And so it turns out that she is doing the pet store business for a long time now and things are doing well. However she mentioned that she, despite her good income, is still looking for wealth opportunities. Opportunities that could make her wealthy. Opportunities that could give her additional income.

The unexpected thing happened. After the meeting I was able to sponsor her into my business and she was very glad. Amazing.

Last night I could not sleep because my credit card bill was due this week. I bought a moisture analyzer that was not in my budget. Although I really felt the need for it. This is the first time that I will pay only the minimum. Never in my life have I paid for financial charge in all my credit cards.

This got me thinking… What did I do wrong?

From childhood I have been a good kid. Followed everything my parents taught me.
“Be a good person…”
“Study hard to have good grades…”
“Go to college and work in a big company like IBM or GM…”

So why am I now paying only the minimum? I already have a good career in my company yet I still find myself struggling to survive days before my next paycheck.

While reflecting I remembered the magazine my friend gave me a few days back. It had an article about what billionaires have in common. So I read it hoping that it would bore me to sleep.

What do all billionaires have in common?

Here’s one: They all had dreams. Dreams fuel your desire to succeed. Dreams motivate you to act during times of stress.
Next? They never forget to count their blessings. They appreciate what they have and what they are getting.
Next? They never settle. They believe that dissatisfaction is divine. Something God gave us as humans.
Finally, all of them built networks. Not one of them got rich by themselves.

What happened was, I was not able to sleep. I suddenly felt the excitement. Guess what happened next? Yes, I built my dream book. My fuel to act to succeed.

Hong Kong is regarded as the Culinary Capital of Asia. I went there with a friend a couple of weeks ago and man! It was just… amazing. The HK Airport was huge, the streets were clean and the people are all in a hurry. I am not very fond of Hong Kong before because a friend of mine told me not so good stories about it. But hey, stories are biased right?

Anyhow, one thing I noticed in Hong Kong is that, THERE ARE NO FATTIES. No offense meant to gravity challenged people. The only fat guy I saw there is a British tourist. So as I mentioned earlier, Culinary Capital. Hong Kong really has great food. Also huge servings. So why don’t people get fat? After a couple of days there I realized, it was because of exercise.

Yes. Every place you go to requires you to walk. Yes you can ride a cab but it is expensive. Also, if you ride the bus, you need to pay the whole route. I think walking regularly for long distances can really be a great workout. Oh one thing I noticed too, women there have great looking legs. Yes, they usually dress up showing off their legs. No varicose veins, no nothing. Just great looking legs. I actually were jealous. My friend and I talked about it and remembered that once we wanted to try a product we read from slimvox reviews but now we realize, if you want to be slim and healthy, just go to Hong Kong and live there for a couple of months.
