A couple of months ago, I set up a twenty gallon freshwater aquarium. At first the fishes were fine until I have decided to add some decorations. First I used the plastic plants but after a few weeks, I noticed that there were algae all over them. Also, they have become too expensive for a small hobby. So I went to some aquarium shops and I bought underwater plants. These plants are ready to be planted so I bought plenty. I heard that plants make healthy fishes so this was one reason why I bought them. However after some time, I noticed that my Neon Tetras started having like bits of salt covering their body.

It was Ich, a common disease among scale less fishes like the Tetra. The solution as I found out was to install a rheem heat pump to increase the temperature to 32 degrees celcius. This will kill the bacteria causing disease. However it was very expensive last time I checked so right now I am still looking for better alternatives…

Organizing a wedding is very stressful. Perfect planning and execution is essential to make it all work. Of course, to do this you have to consider everything – weather forecasts, budget, health, preferred music, themes, etc. However at the event itself, you will realize that there were always some things you forgot to consider. Anything from “one of the band members died” or the “catering service will not be able to make it”. Some things are just beyond your control.

Sorry for ranting. This actually happened before when a friend of mine asked me to organize her wedding. I wanted it to be perfect but then it turned out to be a mess. It was a fun mess though although not what I expected. I remembered that I even hired an artist to hand paint all the bridal shower invitations and they ended up twenty invites short. Oh well… I learned my lesson – next time, just organize a stag party instead of a wedding.

For some reason I just keep on thinking about insurance and how important they are. Look at my recent posts! Most of them are about insurance, lately.

My roommate in college started messaging me because apparently she stumbled across this blog and noticed how intrigued I am by insurance companies and what services they had to offer, so she linked me to Wholesaleinsurance.net and asked what I had to say.

I haven’t really given it much thought, I only browsed through the website for a few minutes, and I don’t really want to judge a company based on its website and what it has to say alone, I’d rather hear from its customers what kind of service they have, and if it’s any good.

Do I have any readers out there that have been under this company? I’ve heard a lot of great things about this company, and I’d like to hear more from those who experienced their service firsthand. Please comment on this post! :) Thank you.

It takes me approximately one day to get a hardware working decently, and about 3 hours of use to break it and attempt to fix it and fail, again.

The cycle never ends, really.

It all started with a scanner. I decided I want to start drawing, and process those drawings digitally via SAI Paint Tool, but I couldn’t get the scanner to work since I don’t have the proper driver for it.

I had to look for manuals online, and for a decent source for a driver without a virus (which I’m not very good at, to be honest)..

After a while I tried to see if my old webcam still worked. It took me such a long time to get it working only to realize that the lenses were broken and I could even hardly recognize my face from the camera.

I decided to get Royal Imaging document scanning services instead of having to fix stuff manually mainly because of two reasons:

1) I’m lazy.
2) So far, their services have never failed to make me happy.

You should try them out, if you’re as lazy as me. Five stars!
