My friendly neighbor woke me up at eight just to inform me that I had my panty liners scattered all over the block. I was still feeling last night’s tequila party so I was not really sure if it was a dream or not. When I went out of the house and saw a trail of trash from my house to across the street. It was humiliating to see my personal trash scattered everywhere.

The culprit, a stray dog. It turned out that the dog managed to push my trashcan down and dragged the garbage bag across the block. Oh well, all I could do is hide inside the house until the street sweeper cleans the street. Because of this, I will definitely get a heavy steel drum as my new trashcan. This way, the stray dog would not be able to easily push it down. Oh and I intend to attach a C4 bomb just in case the dog still manages to scatter the trash.

My sister and her husband just moved in to a really elegant condominium near our office last Dec. 18. What’s so great about that is the fact that they did not have to pay for the 1 month advance and 2 months deposit. It was all taken care of by our CEO. You see, that was the COO’s old condo. She wanted to be able to bring pets to the condo but it wasn’t allowed so she decided to move to an apartment which allows pets.

Oh, did I mention that the COO left her huge LCD TV, gorgeous bed and sofa, plus the refrigerator and oven toaster for them to use?! Wicked right? It’s like they have a Fairy Godmother or Santa COO! ^_^ I actually envy her a bit. But I’m happy at the same time because my sister finally got her own place and she’ll now learn how to be independent – budget wise especially. Tee hee.

For their housewarming Christmas Party later, since they pretty much have everything they needed, I decided to buy them branded window scrapers. Believe it or not, it’s on my top 10 list of must haves when moving to a new place. You see, I’m very particular with the view and I do NOT like smudges on windows obstructing it. Well, that plus the fact that I love using window scrapers and I actually wanted that one for myself. 0:D I’ll probably volunteer to clean it for them later just to demonstrate my window scraping skills. 0;)

Last night, I attended our company christmas party. It was held on a large covered area in a park near the office. It was the worst party I have ever attended.

Why? Well first off, the party was themed “Flock by friends” so everyone was requested to wear costumes that would show their team’s real personality. Since our team are very much into sports, we have decided to wear nba shirts just for fun. I haven’t worn my jersey since college so good thing it still fit me. Anyway, only our team was in costume. Others did not bother to join the contest.

Then the food. It was the worst food I have ever tasted (after my uncle’s truffle dish). It was so bad that there were leftovers on every plate on our table. It was just plain disappointing.

Then the raffle took place. On every big party, prizes are at stake to keep the audience from leaving the party before the intended time. On the ads that they emailed to all employees, they said that there were a lot of prizes and that they were really expensive. In reality, they gave away a handful of five dollar gift certificates from Gonuts. For a company with five thousand employees that was relatively cheap.

Oh well… I could not do anything about that anyway. Although I really regret staying out late just for a stupid party.

You will often hear people say that to be able to lose weight, you just have to eat less and just exercise more. This is one of the most common misconceptions about losing weight. It is not as simple as that. I recently enrolled in a weight loss class to control my weight and to regain my sexy figure. Not that I am fat now, I just want to feel lighter and healthy.

Losing weight is a metabolic process involving a lot of chemicals and water too. You wont just slim down by just eating and exercising. You must do something to make your body remove excess stored fats. One solution for this one is lipofuse – a popular pill for weight loss. However since I am not fat, my coach advised me not to take it since I do not really need it that much.

I’m the type of person who is not into stereotype fashion. It is not that I am emo or something, I just want to be different from the crowd (in a positive sense, that is). Oftentimes, you’ll see me in the streets wearing tattered jeans and hand painted shirt that I did myself. I always get noticed because of the cool designs I make. My friends already suggested that I start my own business but I usually decline. I am way to busy for a business right now and I do not want to associate my hobby with the stresses in finance. For me, a hobby is a hobby.

I rarely wear jewelry.  Mine are just stashed in my safety box. I was once robbed on the street before, since then I never wore jewelry in public. A friend of mine gave me a cool gift last Thanksgiving – jewelry making tools. I was so happy that the night I opened the gift, I started making bracelets already. However, I noticed that I have already made a huge pile of jewelry since thanksgiving and I know I will not be able to wear all those. So I was thinking, just for handmade Jewelry I will do a garage sale. I know this is against my “a hobby is a hobby” principle but hey, I want to see my creations worn on the streets.

Earlier an office friend of mine offered me some insurance packages that I can avail on a big discount. He said his insurance company is giving these packages away for a limited number of clients only. Of course, I do not fall that easily with those tricks. I am skeptical about insurance ever since my brother lost his claim on his college plan.

I explained to my friend about what happened to my brother. When he went to college, the insurance company filed or bankruptcy, leaving its clients without any penny to claim. It is a different story, my friend explained. Not all insurance plans are that fragile. For instance, college plans most often fail because tuition fees generally multiply ten folds by the time the insurance matures. So if the company is not wise with its funds, it will not be able to catch up with the high school fees.

Life insurance (his offer) in the other hand, has a fixed amount. And not all plan holders die everyday. The point is, more money comes in rather than paid to clients. This is why life insurance plans almost always never fail.

He had a point. Still that does not make his insurance plan the best there is. I told him that I will get back to him after I review his insurance quote. Insurance can cost a lot in the long run so I must be wise about making decisions. I do not want to end up like my brother.

Mention diet pills and I get wary. After all, I think natural is still the way to go in terms of weight loss,
and for almost every other health matter. I would think twice before ingesting something foreign and
chemical into my body which might lead to side effects later on.

But if you really want to go to the diet pills route, there’s hope. You just have to be careful and

thorough in doing your research for the effective AND safe diet pills out there. I found the website
www.effectivedietpills.org helpful as it offers sound advice and gives good criteria in finding the best
diet pills for you.

I like that it mentions factors important for me as well when considering using a medical product. Some
of the factors the site mentions are of course, effectiveness, safety and affordability.

So before you pop a diet pill, do your homework. You might just be saving your future health.
