I’ve always been fond of making cards for every occasion. I gave “best wishes” cards, birthday cards, and random cards that express what I want to say.

My mom tells me I’ve always had a knack with artsy things, and I’m the only one in our family who’s been this obsessed with cards.

I like giving cards directly to the person myself. I like to stare at the expressions on their faces when they read or see what I made for them, and secretly hope the appreciate the effort I exerted.

It’s better to give than to receive, like the old saying goes, and I definitely agree. The look on everyone’s faces when they receive gifts are just one of the many things money can’t buy.

If you regularly watch ER, Grey’s Anatomy, Scrubs, or any hospital related series, you’ll probably notice that all the hospitals looked just the same. Nothing interesting right? Just a dull looking building with lots of bloody people inside. The newly opened hospital near our company however was quite amazing. It looked like an Area 51 laboratory. Everything seemed so modern. From the desks to the machines, everything was new. What’s amazing is that they have a medical cart in each room, so emergency cases can be accommodated even in a private room! By the way I went there to get a check up because I recently am experiencing blinding headaches and back pains. I got a CT scan and the result has not been released yet. OH MY GOSH I HAVE A TUMOR! hehe, kidding. I probably have some sort of blood pressure problem of some sort.

A friend of mine joined a networking business doing some retail selling of HGH. One of their products, the hgh spray is quite intriguing because it claims to be more effective than the pills. For those of you who do not know, HGH means human growth hormones. These are usually taken by body builders in order to get that buffed up, sculptured physique that Batista has. When taken regularly, and with rigorous exercise, the muscles develop much faster.

However there are some other things you need to know about HGH. These things were discussed to me by my friend when he invited me to join his business. Firstly, HGH are not actually hormones. The name is a little misleading because hormones can only be produced within the body. There’s no way to get that hormone and put it in a spray bottle. Second, HGH are not 100% side effect free. Fortunately, these side effects are just minor. And the pain is worth the gain, he said.

I was browsing the net so get a list of the best acne treatments and i stumbled upon this ebook called “perfect health”. The book was written by Deepak Chopra (an Indian guy) and it is about how to keep the body perfectly healthy by following its natural calls. Examples of  natural calls are hunger, thirst, tiredness and many more. These calls, as explained, are electrical signals sent by millions of cells of the body. Electrical signals which is interpreted by the brain.

All of us know when we are tired, or hungry, or thirsty yet we sometimes answer these calls the wrong way. In this book he discussed that there are certain things which blocks are body to hear these natural calls. These blocks may be environment- related, lifestyle- related or even mental- related. I’ll post some interesting facts from the book later.

It is funny when my office mates catch me humming “Jingle Bells” and “Rudolf the red-nose reindeer” while at my pad. Everyone laughs and tells me that I overly excited about the salary increase. This was sort of a sarcasm intended to be heard by our manager. Today, I thought of a way to make the “give us an increase” more obvious by using rudolph stockings and some post it notes. Inside the stockings, I placed notes saying, “Dear Santa, I hope our kind boss gives us the increase we all deserve so that people in the company will not quit on new year’s day”. Everyone loved the idea. So we posted all the stockings on the bulletin board. I bet my boss will be so curious with the notes and he will definitely be reading it soon.

By the way, I got some comments with me being unethical about asking for increase, well, our company is open to communication. Employees are free to share jokes even with the CEO for as long as it is not personal. And yes, even green jokes are allowed.

I have never imagined there will come a time that I would need to work 12-14 hours a day and even report for work on weekends… until now. I didn’t think that was even possible. But then again, that’s what the job entails… so be it.

Anyway, with my company being a start-up company, the demand for me to work more overtime is understandable. The good thing about that though is that my boss informed me last night that she will be pulling Justin, one of the best in the night shift, to work on the day shift to be my assistant! Pretty exciting! :D Hopefully, once he’s all trained up, I can concentrate on just the campaign issues and strategizing on how to do volume work in a more efficient manner.

I just wish I get to have my weekends off though. Right now, even the best acne face wash I’m using is not enough to prevent my acne because of too much break out due to stress. I wouldn’t want to look like one of those managers who are still young but has lines and stress written all over their faces…

Oh well, this is just for now. Everything will unfold as it should. Soon.

It is amazing how a single popular keyword like “Big Bang Theory” generates so much spam comments. I just posted an article a few hours ago then I received a hundred spams already. Anyhow, I guess the Big bang marathon suspend for today. Something came up in the office so some of my friends were obliged to do overtime. Fortunately, I am in a different team so I was allowed to go out early. So I guess I’ll just be watching some movies by myself tonight.

Earlier, a friend gave me a copy of Step Up 3D version. I am still downloading the stereo movie player in order to show the movie in 3D. Good thing I was able to save my Kellogs 3D glasses! Got them during the Shrek days. Hmm… I haven’t watched this movie before. I am assuming I’ll see 90 percent of the cast will be wearing hip hop clothes ? Oh sorry, I guess I was thinking of another movie (You’ve got served). hehe
