Since I started working last 2004, the Asian Cruise has been on my list of “must save up for”. Unfortunately, I still don’t have enough money to be on an Asian Cruise. To cap it off, I don’t want to go on an Asian Cruise alone… That would be very dismal.

Quite determined to make my dream into reality, I decided to do some canvassing and came across the Rhapsody of the Seas – one of the cruise ships of royal caribbean. Its 5 Night Southeast Asia cruise is simply perfect with these as its “Ports of Call”: Hong Kong, China | Okinawa, Japan | Keelung (Taipei), Taiwan | Kao-Hsiung, Taiwan.

Somebody please help me go aboard that ship! I’m accepting donations and sponsorship, if you must know. Hehehe.

Unlike most people, I am not a coffee fan. I don’t live and breathe coffee. If I’m going to categorize myself, I’d say I’m a social drinker when it comes to coffee. That is, I only drink coffee for bonding sessions with my friends. But when I do drink, I really drink the expensive ones.

Still, I’m quite amazed with the different coffee makers and espresso machines I see at each coffee house. My friend, who’s so much into coffee, is actually planning to brew her own espresso coffee in her apartment by buying one of those fascinating espresso makers. The one she likes is quite expensive though. Then again, if you’re a coffee addict, having your very own coffee machine is definitely a worthy investment.

Though Australia is known for its great Sydney Accommodations and Festivals, do not forget to visit its smaller cities like Adelaide and Perth.

Known as “the city where there’s always something on” and named in honor of Queen Adelaide, the city of Adelaide is South Australia”s seat of government and commercial centre. When visiting this city, make sure to time it with WOMADelaide, Australia’s premier world music event, or other events such as the Adelaide Festival of Arts, Adelaide Film Festival, Adelaide Festival of Ideas, and Adelaide Writers’ Week.

For those into visual and performing arts, Perth should definitely be on your list of places to visit in Australia. The capital and the largest city of Western Australia, Perth houses the Perth Concert Hall, the New Convention Centre, and the West Australian Art Gallery. This gallery showcases the states’ premier art collection and numerous impressive visiting exhibitions, like 2006 Norman Lindsay exhibition.

Since not many people visit the smaller cities in Australia, you will find that Adelaide Hotels and Perth Hotels’ rate are cheaper compared to its main cities.
